Hello beautiful Fit and Fabulous Neighbors!
We have all had crazy mornings that are hectic and unorganized. We have also all had at least one morning that went smoothly - I hope!
There is a simple way to make each morning go smoothly and flow with good energy. It starts with the night before.
All we need to do is get a good running start for the morning by backing up into the night before!
Seriously , you know when we want to leap over a hurdle , or jump far, we need to back up quite a bit to get a running start. Well, we could think of our good organized flowing mornings as that thing we want to leap for. It all starts way back into the previous evening.
When we eat a light and nutritious dinner and clean up our kitchen , set table for breakfast, organize our clothes for tomorrow, finish up any paperwork we need, pack lunches and make a list of what we need to accomplish the next day - we just wake up and soar over our hurdle like we have wings!
If you have kids have them do the same thing and you will see how they wake up with direction and purpose, not wandering around the house not knowing what to do first!
My morning routine is usually, up and stretch , get into workout clothes , have coffee, workout, breakfast with kids, computer work or teach , shower, dressed, chores and off for the days duties and activities. The night before it is best if I have a clean kitchen with breakfast stuff out, coffee mugs etc, set coffee maker up . set out clothes for workout have all permission slips and forms to the kids schools signed and have their lunches packed as well as ours, I also need to plan out my class format for the next day the previous night.
If we are trying to have good healthy eating habits, it helps to have our breakfast , lunch and dinner planned out the night before. When we do this we do not flounder around unorganized looking for good food choices that day.
Just like all successful strategies the way to make it work for each one of us is to do what all directions read on most labels "repeat until you achieve desired results"!
Love,
Lorella
